of payment protection insurance scandal.

Which? consumer group announced that the millions of pounds worth of bonuses distributed

throughout bank executives should be investigated in regards to the PPI scandal.

The demand is similar to that of the Financial Service Authority, according to the Financial Times,

which has advised banking groups to stop all bonuses paid out to those who were of a superior

standing during the mis-selling years.

Banks have accepted the complaints of the FSA and are now making efforts to try and recover some

of the past bonuses.

Many banks have said that payment protection insurance responsibility will be a factor in pay,

although as of yet, no bonuses paid out have been reclaimed.

If payment protection insurance is sold to you the right way it offers ease of mind, however over several years many policies have been mis-sold and Claims Advisory group are helping thousands of people reclaim monies in relation to these mis-sold policies.

If you are in the UK and have or currently taking a loan out in the last 10 years then there is a chance you could have been mis-sold payment protection insurance (PPI) and could be owed thousands. Even if your credit card or loan has been paid off you can still claim back PPI.

It’s believed that many of the 35 million payment protection policies in existence within the UK were mis-sold.

PPI is a type of insurance that is taken out with loans, credit/store cards and mortgage, to cover your loan or credit and if you cannot meet payments if you cannot not work due to illness, injury caused by an accident or if you have been made redundant. PPI could have been mis-sold to you so it is worth checking to see if you can make a claim especially if it has been in the past ten years.

Loan companies are legally obliged to sell PPI only as an option but many people have been sold this automatically without you know which could leave you out of pocket.

If you have borrowed off any of these lenders then there’s a strong chance you have been mis-sold PPI:

Alliance & Leicester, HFC Bank

Swinton

Egg

GE Capital Bank

Loans.co.uk

Redcats (Brands Ltd)

Hadenglen

Capital One Bank

Regency Mortgage Corp

Home & County Mortgages

Capital Mortgage Connection

You are entitled to claim back PPI if any of the below apply to you:

You were told PPI was compulsory.

Told taking out PPI would have a better chance of obtaining the finance required.

The insurance was added to your loan agreement without your knowledge.

You were unemployed, retired or self employed at the time of taking out PPI.

Policy exclusions were not pointed out to you – for example you may not be able to make a claim if you are off work due to stress related illness or back problems.

You were not asked whether you had any pre existing medical conditions.

Your employer provided a benefits package which included cover for sickness, redundancy or income protection.

To see if you have been mis-sold PPI is easy, just contact us on (08081) 689063, making the claim will take up to 12 weeks and we always work with a ‘No Win No Fee’ policy so you won’t lose out if your claim is not successful.

Claim advisory group helps thousands of people who have been mis-sold PPI and we have a proven track record for success, we’ve been claiming up to £2million per month for customers who’ve had policies mis-sold to them.

The Spanish banking group’s UK branches have reported profits of £993 million for the year, a figure down 40% from 2010.

The payment protection insurance (PPI) provisions set aside at £538 million has been said to have had a massive impact on the business over the past 12 months.

However, Santander bosses have also spoken out about other reason for decline such as low interest rates and higher costs for funding.

These provisions have been set for a reason. Payment protection insurance has been mis-sold to thousands of consumers, therefore, Claims Advisory Group has made it their business to help you reclaim. With 5 years of claiming experience Claims Advisory Group are experts in getting your money back.

Big banks responsible for the payment protection mis-selling scandal have seen millions paid out in compensation to those affected. According to the Financial Service Authority, £776 million has been spent in redress this year to the end of September, a massive sum for compensation.

Figures show that payment protection insurance (PPI) claims are on the rise, with £222m paid in redress in September alone, just under a third of the total claims made in the first 9 months of the year.

After a win for the Financial Service Authority (FSA) during the April Judicial Review, many firms have seen a ‘significant rise’ in the amount of PPI claims and compensation paid.

The FSA had this to say: “We received complaints data, in arrears, from 16 firms, which accounted for 92 per cent of PPI complaints made in the first half of 2011.” This statement shows evidence of how most of the banks halted all claims made during the Judicial Review period, and they only started dealing with them again after they lost the court battle.

High street banks have set aside approximately £7 billion to compensate their customers. Lloyds Banking Group holds a high percentage of that figure with a £3.2 billion compensation fund for their clients who were mis-sold.

Claims Advisory Group wants to get you the compensation that you deserve. Worryingly so, some of you may not even be aware that you are paying for PPI. So dig out your loan agreements to see if you’re paying hidden charges that Claims Advisory Group could help you reclaim.

Huge profits have been made from banks selling controversial payment protection insurance (PPI). At Claims Advisory Group we aim to claim refunds on policies that have been mis-sold.

It has been revealed that lenders selling payment protection insurance could be making a return on their product of around 980%, a huge return on a policy that cost them very little to initially provide.

Since payment protection selling began, banks have been making billions in profits. The cover is hugely expensive to policy holders, especially as the cover is limited to those that can actually use it. In many instances those who have the policy will be unable to claim when they need to, and only then will they find out they have been paying for something that they never qualified for.

The purpose of PPI is to cover the repayments of loans, mortgages and credit cards if the customer suffers a loss of income due to sickness, accident or unemployment.

Because PPI is highly profitable, banks mis-sold it in many ways because it benefited them to do so. PPI has been mis-sold in numerous ways, such as; adding it to the loan without asking, selling it to someone with a medical history or advising that the loan enquirer would be more likely to receive the loan if they also took out the insurance. Here at Claims Advisory Group we want to help those of you who have been paying for a service you didn’t need, want or ask for. Payment protection insurance is an add-on product, and if you don’t need it, you shouldn’t have it.

Official financial watchdog figures have shown that within the first 10 months of this year, payment protection insurance (PPI) compensation received by mis-sold consumers has topped £1bn.

This money has come from 16 unnamed banks and building societies who have accounted for 92% of all PPI complaints.

Payment protection insurance was originally sold to cover monthly repayments for consumers who have found themselves in the unfortunate position of not being able to pay their bills. However, many have now realised that the policies are useless.

The Financial Service Authority (FSA) disclosed that the highest monthly total for compensation was £268m in October 2011, accounting for a quarter of all claims made last year.

And now it is your turn to claim! Claims Advisory Group is regulated by the Ministry of Justice in respect of regulated claims management activities and has been trusted by hundreds of thousands to handle their claims.
